We are a collaborative and analytical team dedicated to operational excellence, working directly with distributors and cross-functional partners to improve processes and resolve bottlenecks. We are currently evolving our workflows by integrating data-driven insights and emerging technology to optimize how we support our partners. As a member of this team, you will work in an environment that values technical proficiency, operational accuracy, and the application of new tools to enhance productivity.

Your Impact

As a Business Operations Analyst, you will independently identify operational issues, drive cross functional resolution, and lead process improvements across Channel Operations. You will use data to identify trends, resolve operational risks, and translate complex requirements into actionable solutions. By bridging the gap between internal Cisco teams and external distributors, you will ensure our logistics processes are scalable and efficient. Your work will directly influence operational health, order transparency, process efficiency, and the partner experience across our global distribution network.

  • Operational Execution: Take full ownership of distributor operational support; diagnose and resolve systemic bottlenecks by collaborating across departments to improve service consistency and overall operational excellence.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Use Microsoft Excel to aggregate, clean, and analyze operational datasets, producing clear findings on performance trends, variances, and root causes for internal partners.
  • Process Improvement: Review existing supply chain workflows to identify process gaps and implement standardized solutions that reduce manual work and increase overall efficiency.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner with Supply Chain, Finance, and Commerce Operations teams to align on business requirements, project work, and operational handoffs.
  • Technology Integration: Leverage AI and automation to streamline complex operational workflows and improve the quality of decision support, ensuring all new methods are documented to drive consistent, scalable, and efficient internal operations.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related quantitative field (or 4+ years of equivalent professional experience).
  • 5+ years of experience of consistent record in business operations, supply chain, logistics, or channel operations.
  • Showed strength in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and manipulate Pivot Tables and use formulas to perform data analysis.
  • Documented experience using data to identify operational trends, anomalies, or root causes.
  • Experience documenting and analyzing end-to-end business processes to identify gaps or inefficiencies.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration (MBA) or a related quantitative field.
  • Experience with operational dashboards, reporting tools, or workflow automation platforms.
  • Experience applying AI-driven tools or agents to perform data analysis or streamline repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to synthesize operational analysis into clear recommendations and actions for stakeholders/leadership.
  • Shown ability to synthesize complex operational analysis into clear, strategic recommendations that influence leadership and drive measurable, systemic process improvements.
