Flextronics - The Flex Company seeks a Global Operational Excellence Sr Manager in Guadalajara South. You will drive lean/six sigma initiatives, standardize KOIs, and deploy continuous improvement across sites, acting as a change agent to reduce waste and cost.

You’ll coach teams, lead Kaizen workshops, and ensure alignment with Flex Lean Enterprise values while pushing strategic initiatives and CIMT opportunities.

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Global Operational Excellence Sr Manager located in Guadalajara South. Reporting to the Business Excellence Senior Manager. As a Global Operational Excellence Sr Manager you are responsible to support to establish the flex future factory operating systems in relation to Process/Quality/Equipment/MES engineering and operations management. Identify the operations KOIs which are relevant for flex future factory operating system. Standardize the definition and calculations of these KOIs in structured way so, that it will be used for a review process in the sites. Create policies to implement these KOIs across flex sites which will include naming standards, process steps to be included and how data maintenance to be performed and how compliance to these polices will be measured. What a typical day looks like: Work as a change agent and drive lean and six sigma activities as defined in the GBE A3. Applying and deploying Flex Lean Enterprise Values across the entire organization. In charge of eliminating waste and creating value by reducing variation in the processes to achieve sustainable results throughout the organization and segment. Utilize Continuous Improvement (Kaizen) techniques, initiate process improvements, cycle time reductions, cost reductions and other activities aimed at reducing/eliminating non-value-added activities in the process. Drive and Yokoten the identified best practices based on the accord timelines. Create and validate processes/standards based on standard work and BPs. Conduct Industrial Engineering, lean and six sigma training and accelerate the proliferation of Lean Continuous Improvement culture throughout the organization by co-guiding and co-facilitating Lean Deployment. Perform assessment of CIMT Operation/Supply chain/Office and drive initiatives to close gaps. Diligently participate in the selection and executions of lean and six sigma projects. For assigned special project/segment/customer priorities to formulate and propose strategy of Lean. Transformation. Coach and facilitate Lean Transformation activities through Kaizen workshops and Small Group Activities. Incentive a participation and training of Flex Employees, Suppliers and Customers.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team

Bachelor’s degree or Engineering Degree – Industrial Engineering preferred Lean and/or Six Sigma Black Belt preferred Must be able to guide direct projects based on business initiatives and customer needs. Management skills and technical experience on Finance, HR, Materials and Operations activities. Demonstrates detailed expertise COMPLEX situations and multiple area. Comprehends the strategic impact of the function across sites Demonstrates mastery of functional knowledge in relation to other functions and a complete understanding of the function and those of related businesses Ability to think strategically, define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions Impacts the long‑term (annual) direction and financial or operational success of the function and/or site. Approves and/or creates functional processes or technologies. Establishes and ensures effective achievement of functional strategic plans and objectives for the site. May have P&L responsibility for the function. Develops plans for structuring and implementing major initiatives.
