Flex is seeking a Sr Quality Engineer for Guadalajara's North Campus to ensure the quality system aligns with customer requirements and drive continuous improvement across processes.

You will support product engineers and quality programs, lead audits, and manage corrective actions while communicating with clients and internal teams. The role demands leadership, English fluency, and deep knowledge of SPC/quality tools.

Formación

• BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
• Sr experience in a similar role.
• Fluent English.
• Advanced manufacturing experience in electronics or automotive.
• Knowledge in statistical analysis & SPC.
• Leadership mindset and client-facing skills.

Responsabilidades

• Support quality system and ensure customer requirements are met.
• Coordinate continuous improvement activities (8D, FMEA).
• Develop and implement quality audits.
• Maintain quality standards for materials into finished products.
• Analyze reports and recommend corrective actions.
• Approve product, process, and equipment qualifications.
• Lead sustaining processes and communicate with clients.
• Prepare weekly customer quality reports and participate in QBR meetings.

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Sr Quality Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

Reporting to the Quality Director, the Sr Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality system is in place and in use as well as customer requirements. Promote and coordinate continuous improvement activities, 8Ds, FMEA / QCP, ISO9000, statistical process control, and Six Sigma.

What a typical day looks like:

• Supports Product Engineers and Quality Program Managers with customer interfaces as necessary on quality related issues.
• Initiates corrective action requests as needed and tracks to satisfactory completion.
• Assists with development and implementation of quality audits.
• Responsible for developing, applying, revising, and maintaining quality standards for processing materials into partially finished or finished products.
• Analyzes reports and returned products and recommends corrective action.
• Approves product, process, and equipment qualifications.
• Will be in charge of sustaining processes.
• Meetings with CFT.
• Communication channel with client. (Complaints, solutions). Client point of contact.
• Customer Quality report weekly.
• Customer Quarterly Business Review meetings.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
• Sr experience in a similar position.
• Must fluently English.
• Advanced experience in manufacturing electronics or automotive.
• Knowledge in statistical analysis & Statistical processes control.
