Job summary

Charger Logistics Inc. is seeking a Building Maintenance professional to oversee upkeep, maintenance, and repair of building systems and equipment across our North American network.

The role requires routine preventive maintenance, inspections for safety, and support for warehouse machinery to keep operations running smoothly. The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in building maintenance, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently or with a team in a logistics environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in building maintenance preferred.
• 2–3 years of building maintenance experience, ideally in a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general facility maintenance.
• Familiar with operating and maintaining warehouse equipment (forklifts, conveyors).
• Intermediate English is a must.

Responsibilities

• Routine Maintenance & Repairs: Perform preventive maintenance on building systems such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and lighting.
• Facility Inspections & Safety: Conduct regular inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Equipment & Machinery Support: Repair and maintain warehouse equipment and assist with setup of new equipment.
• Emergency Response: Respond promptly to maintenance requests to minimize disruptions.

The Building Maintenance will be responsible for the upkeep, maintenance, and repair of building systems, structures, and equipment. This includes conducting regular inspections, troubleshooting, and responding to maintenance requests to ensure that all operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Routine Maintenance & Repairs: Perform preventive maintenance on building systems such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and lighting. Troubleshoot, repair, and replace malfunctioning equipment and machinery. Ensure all equipment is running at optimal levels to support the logistics operations.
• Facility Inspections & Safety: Conduct regular inspections of the building and surrounding areas to identify potential hazards or maintenance issues. Ensure compliance with local safety regulations and building codes. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in common areas, workspaces, and storage facilities.
• Equipment & Machinery Support: Repair and maintain warehouse equipment such as forklifts, conveyors, and pallet jacks as needed. Assist with setup, testing, and installation of new equipment or machinery.
• Emergency Response: Respond to emergency maintenance requests (e.g., water leaks, electrical issues, HVAC failures) promptly to minimize operational disruptions.

• Intermediate English is a must
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or vocational training in building maintenance or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience (2-3 years) in building maintenance, ideally in a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Knowledge of building systems such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general facility maintenance.
• Familiarity with operating and maintaining warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, conveyor systems).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Familiar with safety standards and regulations (OSHA and building codes.)
