General Motors is seeking a Maintenance Group Leader at Silao Assembly - Body Shop to lead and coordinate maintenance activities for robotic welding systems, conveyors, and related equipment, ensuring safe, reliable operation.

You will supervise skilled trades, prioritize preventive maintenance, manage downtime, and drive improvements in safety, quality, and cost while ensuring clear cross‑shift communication.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Automotive Engineering, or related field.
• 1–3 years' experience maintaining automated manufacturing lines.
• Experience with FANUC robots and Allen-Bradley PLCs.
• Ability to lead teams and communicate effectively.
• Intermediate English proficiency.
• Willingness to rotate shifts and work overtime.

Responsabilidades

• Lead maintenance employees and provide coaching, development, and performance feedback.
• Ensure compliance with safety requirements, PPE, Lockout/Tagout, ESWP, and high-risk work procedures.
• Coordinate preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance.
• Monitor equipment alarms, downtime, work orders, PM compliance, and maintenance backlog.
• Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions for recurring equipment failures.
• Support Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Safety, and other plant functions.
• Maintain standardized work, STS, TIS, JES, SOS, and maintenance procedures.
• Support TPM, continuous improvement, shutdowns, weekend work, and special projects.
• Ensure proper cross-shift communication and accurate documentation in Maximo and other plant systems.
• Drive improvements in safety, quality, cost, responsiveness, people development, and environmental performance.
