BMW Group in San Luis Potosí invites you to join as a Body in White Intern. You will contribute to a project that merges your study with hands-on development in a world‑leading automotive environment.

You will work on-site from January to June 2027, with 40 hours per week, gaining practical experience while BMW Group offers a stipend and benefits. Strong English and MS Office skills are required, plus a proactive, independent work style.

Formación

• Active student in Industrial, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Automotive Engineering, or related field, in 6th–9th semester.
• Minimum average grade of 80/100.
• On-site availability January 1 to June 30, 2027, 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday (7:00–14:30).
• Valid RFC.
• Good MS Office skills.
• Independent and structured thinker with good communication skills.
• Advanced English skills.

Your Work Will Focus Primarily On

Developing a project that will lead you to acquire knowledge and to put in practice what you have learned during you career at the same time that it will generate a positive impact to the Company.

Requirements

• Be an active student of Industrial, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Automotive Engineering or related field of study, coursing 6th - 9th semester.
• Good grades 80/100.
• Availability (on site) from January 1st to June 30th 2027, preferably between 7:00 am - 2:30 pm (40 hours per week) from Monday to Friday in BMW Group Plant San Luis Potosí.
• Have a valid RFC.
• Good MS Office skills.
• Independent and structured way of thinking and with good communication skills.
• Advanced English skills.

Department Overview

• Department Overview: Focuses on ensuring employee safety, maintaining the highest quality standards (BIW and assembly), and achieving required UPH, process stability, and technical availability through advanced automation and digital innovation.
• Main Activities:
  • Monitor KPIs, analyze quality data, report via dashboards, and run defect/scrap reduction projects.
  • Implement innovative ideas through proof-of-concept projects, search for suppliers, request quotations, and roll out digital platform upgrades in shopfloor systems.
