Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Master's degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with large-scale genomic/proteomic data.
• Proficiency in Python, R, Perl, or Java.
• Strong experience with bioinformatics tools and databases (e.g., Ensembl, UCSC Genome Browser) and statistical software.
• Familiarity with NGS data analysis platforms and HPC environments.
• Solid understanding of molecular biology, genetics, and/or proteomics.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with data visualization is a plus.

We are looking for a Senior Bioinformatician to join our Research and Development team. This vital role involves analyzing complex biological datasets, developing novel computational methods, and contributing to the discovery of biomarkers and therapeutic targets. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze next-generation sequencing (NGS) data, including whole-genome, exome, and RNA-seq data.
• Perform comparative genomics, identify genetic variations, and annotate genomic features.
• Develop and apply computational pipelines for the analysis of proteomic and transcriptomic data.
• Integrate multi-omics data (genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics) to derive biological insights.
• Develop and implement statistical and machine learning models for biomarker discovery and disease subtyping.
• Collaborate with experimental biologists, clinicians, and other bioinformaticians to interpret results and design future experiments.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of bioinformatics databases and tools.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in bioinformatics, genomics, proteomics, and related fields.
• Present findings at internal meetings and external scientific conferences.
• Ensure data quality, reproducibility, and adherence to best practices in computational biology.

Requirements
