Job summary

Landing in Mexico City is seeking a Billing Analyst to join our fast-paced billing team. You will report to the Billing Team Lead and handle billing, credits, and account reconciliations, ensuring accurate revenue recognition and timely resolutions.

You’ll grow from mastering core processes to audits and variance analysis, thriving in a high-impact environment with opportunities to learn and advance. English is required, and work is on-site in Polanco.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile member accounts to identify balances owed or due, ensuring accurate revenue recognition and property payouts.
• Process appeasements, refunds, and account credits with proper approvals and documentation.
• Support management with billing audits, discrepancy resolution, and variance tracking.
• Partner with internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex billing issues quickly.
• Respond to member billing inquiries with clear breakdowns of statements and transparency.

About the Role

We're looking for a Billing Analyst to join Landing! You'll report to the Billing Team Lead and play a key role in billing, collections, and account reconciliation while working closely with a team of analysts. This is the right role if you enjoy working with numbers, solving problems with logic, and digging into the details to find the needle in the haystack.

The role evolves as you grow: you'll start by mastering core processes such as appeasements and credits, then expand into reconciliations, audits, and variance analysis as you develop expertise. You'll thrive in a fast-paced, high-impact environment with ample opportunities to learn and advance.

What You'll Do

• Reconcile member accounts to identify balances owed or due, ensuring accurate revenue recognition and property payouts.
• Process appeasements, refunds, and account credits with the proper approvals and documentation.
• Support management with billing audits, discrepancy resolution, and variance tracking.
• Partner with internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex billing issues quickly and effectively.
• Respond to member billing inquiries (calls, emails, tickets) by providing clear breakdowns of statements and ensuring full transparency.

What You'll Need

• English proficiency: Fluent (B2-C1)
• Ability to work from our Polanco office - a collaborative, fast-moving environment.
• Availability Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM CST
• Experience in billing or a related field (not necessarily an accountant, but comfortable working with numbers)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
• Solid organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities with urgency
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
• Flexibility to work extended hours during critical periods, as needed
• Collaborative mindset and willingness to contribute to a team-oriented culture

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $16,500 - $18,000 MXN gross per month
• Grocery vouchers: $1,500 MXN net per month
• Vacation: 12 days per year (available after 90 days of employment)
• Paid time off (PTO): 40 hours per year (available after 30 days of employment)
• Christmas Bonus: 30 days
• Vacation Bonus: 75% of base salary
