Job summary

ASFG is seeking a Learning Support Teacher to provide specialized instructional support for students with identified learning needs. The role emphasizes tailoring interventions, collaboration with teachers and families, and coordination with external professionals to implement individualized plans and monitor progress.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s in Special Education, minimum 2 years in learning support, and full bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in learning support or special education.
• 100% bilingual English and Spanish.
• Strong collaboration and communication with teachers and parents.
• Knowledge of MTSS and its implementation.
• Knowledge of the Science of Reading.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized instructional support to students with identified learning needs.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to implement inclusive learning strategies.
• Coordinate with parents and external professionals for evaluations and guidance.
• Maintain up-to-date records of student progress and accommodations.
