Job summary

Flowserve Corporation in Querétaro is seeking an Accountant to analyze financial information and prepare reports to track assets, liabilities, and profits under US-GAAP.

You will participate in month-end closings, reconcile general ledger accounts, and generate daily and monthly reports while collaborating with the General Accounting team. The ideal candidate has a BS/BA in accounting and 3-5 years of experience, with strong English and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• BS or BA degree in a relevant field and 3-5 years of accounting experience.
• Excellent English communication, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in MS Office and spreadsheet analysis.

Responsibilities

• Actively participating in assigned accounting and month end closing processes under US-GAAP
• Performing Accounting activities with the team
• Reporting: you provide a daily and monthly reports and assist to your colleagues from the General Accounting team
• Perform month-end closings, general ledger account analysis and Balance Sheet account reconciliations, prepare SOX controls
• Continuous contact with vendors, customers regarding fixed asset issues
• Assist with the resolution of any issues that could impact the timely month-end closing
• And Other tasks as assigned
