Job summary

Amanvari invites experienced hospitality professionals to join as The Bar Supervisor, supporting the Head Bartender across luxury resort outlets. You will lead daily beverage operations, ensure quality, and uphold Aman’s serenity and service standards.

Fluent in English and Spanish, you’ll train staff, coordinate with wine service, and maintain HACCP compliance while delivering flawless guest experiences in a tranquil, high-end setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in bar or beverage operations, luxury hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails.
• Basic wine service and cellar maintenance understanding.
• Understanding HACCP and beverage safety standards.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily beverage operations across all bars and service points, ensuring readiness, cleanliness, and product quality.
• Ensure all beverage stations are fully equipped, properly stocked, and organized according to Amanvari standards.
• Support the Head Bartender in maintaining consistency in cocktail preparation, recipes, and presentation.
• Assist the Resort Sommelier with the setup and service of wine experiences, cellar organization, and glassware management.
• Conduct regular checks of storage areas, ensuring products are handled and rotated following HACCP procedures.
• Lead daily briefings with bar teams, communicating updates, product knowledge, and service priorities.
• Guarantee bar setup, opening, and closing procedures are completed accurately and on time.
• Monitor service quality and assist the Head Bartender in implementing guest feedback from TrustYou and LQA.
• Coordinate with Purchasing and Stewarding for supply and glassware replenishment.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards of all bar and back-bar areas.

Role

TheBarSupervisor supports the Head Bartender in leading the daily operations of all bar outlets at Amanvari, including restaurant, pool & beach, in-room, minibar, and beverage experiences. This role focuses on operational excellence, consistency, and discipline, ensuring every bar reflects Aman’s standards of serenity, precision, and attention todetail.TheBarSupervisor also acts as an operational support for the Resort Sommelier, ensuring flawless coordination between bar and wine service, as well as the overall beverage miseenplace and guest experience.Acting as a hands-on leader, theBarSupervisor ensures readiness, product quality, and service precision, while guiding and supporting theAmansantis(staff members) in organization, execution, and training.
