Job summary

McLarens seeks an experienced network engineer to architect, deploy, and manage Azure-based infrastructure and security. You will lead migrations from on-prem to Azure, configure Palo Alto firewalls with Panorama and Prisma Access, and enable secure remote access via GlobalProtect across global sites.

Qualifications

• Palo Alto Networks PCNSE certification is required.
• Azure Network Engineer Associate or equivalent certification is required.
• Bonus: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or similar advanced cloud certifications.

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and manage Azure-based network infrastructure including VNets, Azure Firewall, Application Gateway, NSGs, Load Balancers, Private Endpoints, VPN, and ExpressRoute.
• Lead network migration and transformation initiatives from on-prem to Azure cloud.
• Configure, manage, and optimize Palo Alto firewalls with Panorama and Prisma Access.
• Deploy and administer GlobalProtect for secure remote access across endpoints and locations.
• Leverage Cortex Data Lake for threat visibility and log analytics; implement Data Loss Prevention policies.
• Collaborate with cloud, application, and infrastructure teams to align networking with business services.
• Implement Zero Trust architectures, segmentation, and secure access controls.
• Monitor network health and security events using Azure Monitor, Network Watcher, or external tools.
• Manage connectivity and SLAs with ISPs and cloud providers globally.
• Contribute to business continuity with cloud-first DR and failover strategies.
• Maintain documentation of network architecture and assets.
