Job summary

McLarens is seeking an experienced network security professional to architect and manage Azure-based network infrastructure, including VNets, Firewalls, and VPNs, while leading migration projects from on-prem to Azure. The role emphasizes Palo Alto firewalls, GlobalProtect, and Zero Trust.

Hybrid work options are available; collaboration with global teams and incident monitoring are key parts of this role.

Qualifications

• Palo Alto Networks PCNSE certification required.
• Azure Network Engineer Associate or equivalent cert is required.
• Bonus: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or similar advanced cloud certs.
• Strong knowledge of cloud networking and migration to Azure, including ExpressRoute/VPN.
• Experience with Zero Trust, App-ID, and security policies.

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and manage Azure-based network infrastructure (VNets, Firewalls, Gateways, NSGs).
• Lead and support network migrations from on-prem to Azure cloud.
• Configure Palo Alto firewalls with Panorama and Prisma Access.
• Deploy and administer GlobalProtect for remote access.
• Leverage Cortex Data Lake for threat visibility and implement DLP policies.
• Collaborate with cloud, application, and infra teams to align networking with business services.
• Implement Zero Trust architectures and secure access controls.
• Monitor health and security events with Azure Monitor/Network Watcher.
• Manage connectivity and SLAs with ISPs and cloud providers globally.
• Contribute to cloud-first DR and failover strategies.
• Document network architecture and asset inventory; MS Meraki familiarity.
