Capgemini Engineering in Mexico is seeking a Senior Software Safety Engineer to execute core safety lifecycle tasks for AeroVect’s autonomous platforms. You will analyze software architectures, derive SSRs and evidence, and collaborate with software, robotics, hardware, and flight-test teams to ensure safety compliance.

You should have 5+ years in software development or safety, strong C++/Python skills, ISO 26262-6 expertise, and experience with ROS/ROS2.

Formación

• Experience executing software safety analyses on autonomous systems.
• Experience with ISO 26262-6 and SOTIF.
• Ability to derive SSRs and monitor/fail-safe mechanisms.
• Review safety-critical code in C++/Python.
• 5+ years of software development or SW safety experience.

Responsabilidades

• Perform System Safety Analysis across AeroVect’s platforms.
• Derive, specify, and trace functional and technical safety requirements (SSRs/TSRs).
• Collaborate with software, robotics, hardware, and flight-test teams to ensure safety requirements are integrated and verifiable.
• Assist in building safety case artifacts and verification evidence for deployment.
