Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation in Mexico City seeks an Intermediate OTA Test Automation engineer to support end-to-end verification and validation of automotive electronic control systems. You will design and execute automated test scripts using Python, Bash and CAPL to ensure reliable performance across global markets.

You will develop test cases, configure test benches, analyze logs, and contribute to test framework improvements, with day shift, office-based work and English

Qualificações

• Proven experience in auto verification and validation for automotive systems.
• Strong expertise with CAN bus and related automotive protocols including signal configuration and log interpretation.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash and CAPL for developing maintainable automated test scripts.
• Experience with test automation tools/frameworks in embedded automotive environments.
• Ability to document test artifacts in English and report results to stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Execute verification and validation activities for automotive ECUs to ensure safety and compliance.
• Design and maintain test cases and procedures for verification across multiple vehicle platforms.
• Develop automated test scripts using Python, Bash and CAPL to improve coverage and repeatability.
• Analyze CAN bus messages and signals to verify network and diag specifications.
• Prepare test benches and tooling to support automated and manual testing.
• Document defects, logs, traces and measurements; collaborate with developers for issue resolution.
• Provide clear test reports and input for project release planning.
• Coordinate test execution with project teams to align scope and timelines.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of test frameworks, workflows, and standards.
