Job summary

Autoliv is seeking a Segment Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) to partner with external suppliers, developing robust processes and delivering high quality parts. The role spans from supplier pre-qualification through successful component launches, ensuring adherence to Autoliv and industry standards.

The Serial SQE will coordinate with internal teams to plan quality events and resolve issues, and will manage PPAP/PSW approvals to drive supplier capability and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
• Lean and Six Sigma expertise.
• English speaking/writing is required.
• Automotive industry experience and problem solving skills required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Project Launch, Purchasing, Engineering and other Quality teams to plan quality events and resolve issues.
• Manage PPAP/PSW approvals for external suppliers.
• Drive supplier quality from pre-qualification to successful launch of components.
• Verify suppliers’ conformance to Autoliv standards and industry standards.
• Follow-up on non-conforming materials and events to closure.
