Joyson Safety Systems in Monterrey, MX, seeks a design-focused engineer to contribute to the development and validation of Steering Wheel (SW) products. The role requires collaboration with international teams to achieve high quality and safety standards.

You will design SW interfaces with the Driver Airbag, create drawings, perform DFMEAs, and support production lines to ensure design conformance. A mechanical engineering degree and 2+ years in auto industry are preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred).
• Minimum 2 years automotive industry experience.
• Strong technical knowledge and systems thinking.
• Familiar with FMEA, tolerance stacks and CAE analysis.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilidades

• Support Steering Wheel development and coordinate build/test requests.
• Design SW interfacing with DAB for quality and reliability.
• Create/modify drawings, tolerance stacks, and DFMEAs.
• Analyze FEA and dynamic simulations to optimize designs.
• Conduct testing and use results to improve SW designs.
• Support production lines to ensure conformance with design.
• Research new products or processes to improve quality and reduce costs.
• Assist manufacturing and warranty with corrective actions.
