Magna Powertrain Mexico is seeking a purchasing professional to support global procurement processes for automotive programs. You will coordinate program purchasing with suppliers and internal teams, and lead negotiations on contracts and prices while ensuring quality and timelines.

Ideal candidates will have a background in manufacturing procurement, strong analytical skills, and fluency in English. The role emphasizes strategic cost management and close collaboration across departments.

Formación

• Engineering degree or related field required.
• 2 years of purchasing/procurement experience in a manufacturing plant.
• Strong negotiation and pricing skills in a manufacturing setting.
• Knowledge of direct materials procurement and supplier management preferred.
• Familiarity with INCOTERMS and IATF16949, ISO14001, and VDA standards.

Responsabilidades

• Support global purchasing process execution for Magna Powertrain programs.
• Direct and coordinate all program purchasing activities with suppliers and internal teams.
• Negotiate contracts and prices; manage supplier relationships and quality.
• Plan and align cost structures, tooling, and manufacturing changes.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and program milestones are met.
