Job summary

Joyson Safety Systems in Apodaca, NL, MX seeks a Specialist, Production Quality to strengthen our automotive quality engineering team. You will lead quality initiatives, support Ford Q1 objectives, and ensure compliance with QMS requirements across production lines.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering, hands-on experience in automotive quality, and knowledge of IATF 16949, 8D, FMEA, APQP, and root cause analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Experience in automotive quality engineering.
• Knowledge of QMS, IATF 16949, 8D, FMEA, APQP, and Root Cause Analysis.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience working with Ford customer requirements is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects to reduce scrap costs and improve manufacturing quality.
• Support achievement of Ford Q1 customer satisfaction objectives.
• Ensure compliance with QMS requirements and customer standards.
• Analyze quality performance data and implement corrective actions.
• Lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement activities.
• Work with cross-functional teams to improve product and process quality.
• Monitor quality KPIs and drive actions to meet quality targets.
