Job summary

HARMAN International is seeking a Materials Planner in Querétaro. You will ensure production readiness by analyzing demand, inventory, and supplier communications, while implementing robust material planning strategies.

Responsibilities include daily inventory checks, supplier coordination for pilots, and minimizing freight costs. A strong SAP/MM/PP and Excel skillset plus 3–5 years in automotive materials planning are desired.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, International Business, Finance, or Business Administration.
• Materials planning experience in the automotive sector preferred.
• Knowledge of MRP, replenishment planning, and supplier follow-up.
• Advanced SAP MM/PP modules knowledge and Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Analyze demand, inventory, and communication with suppliers to assure material supply for production.
• Create sustainable processes and strategies for material planning and inventory control.
• Daily inventory analysis to avoid shortages for pilot builds.
• Coordinate with scheduling, logistics and PM for procurement to support pilots.
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure delivery and improve lead times when needed.
• Maintain open communication with PM, suppliers and Procurement.
• Coordinate with Warehouse on goods receipt and with Customs and Logistics on arrivals.
• Escalate as needed and minimize freight through proper planning.
• Perform other activities as assigned by AME Sr. Materials Planner or AME Sr. Pilot Factory Operations Manager.
