Magneti Marelli Parts & Services in Toluca, Mexico, is seeking a Material Planning professional to join the Automotive Lighting team, reporting to the Material Planning Manager. This role is based at our Toluca office and focuses on ensuring uninterrupted production supply through robust MRP processes.

You will coordinate with domestic and international suppliers, manage inventory, perform KPI analysis, and support production planning with capacity and forecast reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• Minimum 2–5 years in Material Planning, Inventory Control, Procurement, Production Planning, or Supply Chain.
• Experience in the automotive industry is preferred.
• Experience with domestic and international suppliers.
• Strong knowledge of MRP processes and material planning.
• Proficiency with SAP and advanced Excel.

Responsabilités

• Manage material procurement activities to ensure uninterrupted production supply.
• Execute and monitor MRP processes, including supplier release management and exception handling.
• Coordinate with national and international suppliers to ensure material availability and delivery performance.
• Monitor inventory levels, coverage analysis, and stock optimization to support efficiency.
• Analyze supply chain KPIs and develop improvement actions to enhance delivery and inventory.
• Manage critical component shortages and implement mitigation plans to minimize risks.
• Support production planning through capacity analysis, forecast reviews, and material availability assessments.
• Coordinate inventory reduction initiatives and obsolete material management.
• Participate in supplier negotiations related to delivery schedules and shortages.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure supply chain excellence.
