Yanfeng Mexico’s Safety Systems unit seeks a Logistics Transportation Assistant to support daily logistics and transportation operations by coordinating shipments, tracking deliveries, and maintaining accurate documentation. You will communicate with drivers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure timely movement of goods.

• Degree in Engineering, International Relations, Commercial Trade, Foreign Trade or related field
• Strong knowledge of customs regulations, tariff classification, and trade compliance
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and customs management software
• English conversational skills are required
• Internship or academic projects in logistics are a plus

Responsabilidades

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date transportation and logistics files
• Track shipments daily and provide status updates
• Coordinate with logistics team, carriers, customs brokers, and suppliers
• Monitor unit arrivals at the warehouse and report delays
• Support route planning to optimize transportation efficiency
• Prepare and send shipment pre-alerts to internal teams and partners
• Update logistics portals and internal systems with shipment data
• Conduct weekly file reviews to ensure data accuracy
• Assist in preparation and control of logistics and import documentation
• Update internal logistics manuals as needed
• Control and reconcile logistics expenses and cost tracking
