Job summary

Integrated Assemblies, Motherson Sequencing and Assembly Services (MSAS) in Puebla, Mexico, is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer to lead layout design, material flow optimization, and integration of automated systems for automotive projects.

Candidates should have 5+ years in Automotive (Tier 1 preferred), expertise in 2D/3D simulation (AutoCAD, Flexim) and AMR/AGV technologies, and experience with SAP ERP and PLC systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years’ automotive experience (Tier 1 preferred).
• 2D/3D simulation experience (AutoCAD, Flexim) and understanding of Discrete Event Simulation.
• Knowledge of AMR/AGV systems and material flow automation.
• Basic industrial automation/PLC knowledge (Siemens, Rockwell).
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP ERP.

Responsibilities

• Develop 2D/3D layouts and simulation models using DOE and other tools.
• Design and integrate logistics systems and automated material flow solutions.
• Implement layout changes and material flow improvements.
• Partner with Purchasing and Acquisition teams on new project layouts.
• Drive innovation and maintain awareness of emerging technologies.
