Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group in Mexico is seeking an experienced Lighting DRE to lead exterior lighting design for automotive projects. The candidate should hold a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and bring 10+ years of hands-on experience in interior and exterior lighting design.

You will collaborate with Styling to evaluate feasibility, review A-class surfaces, and define craftsmanship targets. You will create and release lighting components and sub-systems, interpret simulations, and work

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 10+ years in automotive lighting design.
• Expertise in exterior and interior lighting components.
• Experience with CATIA V6 and design validation.

Responsibilities

• Develop lighting components and release designs.
• Work with Styling to conduct feasibility studies and surface checks.
• Engage with Tier-I suppliers on design trade-offs.
• Interpret simulation results and integrate into product design.
• Ensure manufacturing feasibility and release of components.
• Guide craftsmanship targets during development.
