Job summary

Yanfeng is seeking a CAD Designer/Engineer in Querétaro to create and modify CAD models for automotive interiors. You will manage DWG files, apply GD&T, and oversee CAD data releases in PLM while coordinating with internal teams and customers.

Requirements include a CAD-focused degree (2-year or 4-year) and 2+ years of product design experience in the automotive Tier 1 space, with expertise in CATIA, NX, Teamcenter, Enovia, SAP and AGILE.

Qualifications

• 2-year Associates Degree in CAD design or 4-year Engineering degree (Mechanical/Aerospace) from ABET-accredited university.
• 2+ years of product design experience, preferably in automotive Tier 1.
• Deep understanding of plastics, metal stampings and A-surface development.
• Software experience: CATIA, NX; Teamcenter, Enovia, SAP, AGILE; familiarity with automotive standards (FMVSS, ISO, ASME).

Responsibilities

• Create new CAD models of future products.
• Analyze and modify CAD models from customers, suppliers, or internal sources.
• Create/modify DWG files using proper templates and apply GD&T.
• Manage CAD data releases in YFPLM.
• Coordinate data transfers with internal teams and customer interfaces.

Education

Associates Degree in CAD design

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Aerospace) ABET-equivalent
