Job summary

Ford of Mexico is seeking a Technical Support Engineer Analyst to join the Technical Assistance Center. You will guide dealership technicians through complex diagnostics and lead data-driven analytics to shape improvements.

You will manage databases and create dashboards using Alteryx, Qlik, Power BI, and Advanced Excel, while supporting Ford diagnostic tools (FDRS, IDS, PTS) and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

Degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
1–3 years in advanced automotive diagnostics or technical support.
Proficient in data tools (Alteryx, Qlik, Power BI, Advanced Excel).
Ability to read wiring diagrams, telemetry, CAN/LIN networks.
Knowledge of HEV/BEV and SDV is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide technical guidance to dealership technicians for complex diagnostics.
Lead TAC data initiatives, manage databases, and create visual dashboards.
Support Ford diagnostic tools (FDRS, IDS, PTS) via phone and GTAC.
Collaborate with Parts Supply, Field Service Engineers, and Product Concern Engineers.
Document cases in GCQIS to aid engineering teams.
Respond to dealer inquiries via Web, Phone, SWIS and CRC.
Drive KPIs by reducing downtime and improving first-time fix rate.
