Job summary

EDAG Mexico seeks a Bolting Planner to lead planning and implementation of complex production equipment across automotive screwdriving processes. You will prepare documentation for pre-series tightening, support tool start-ups, and manage master PC variants for new implementations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical or related
• At least 4 years of professional experience
• Substantial experience in the specific planning fields in the Automotive Industry (Screwdriving technology)
• Experience with tool brands: Atlas Copco, Desoutter, Stanley/QBEC, Bosch Rexroth, Cleco
• Experience at an OEM
• Fluent English

Responsibilities

• Escort planning and implementation phases of complex production equipment and commissioning processes.
• Prepare documentation and releases of pre-series tightening processes (maintenance, production and quality).
• Start up support of new tools or torque equipment.
• Changes in Master PC variants for new implementations to rebalancing.
• Ensure parameters for releases (Curves, MFU, MNA1, PDM).
• Support to improve the Master PC with visual aids and line releases with ID operator.
• Validation of chances with multidisciplinary areas.
• Standardize programs and parameters (target torque, angle, speed, window thresholds, time, OK/NOK limits, retries).
• Interpret specifications and validate preload (materials, fastener classes, coatings, lubricants, treatments).
• Ensure process capability (Cm/Cmk, Cpk), OK/NOK rate, and First Time Through per station.
• Support try-outs, ramp-up, and engineering change; analyze curves and adjust parameters.
• Train operators, technicians, and quality teams on acceptance criteria and NOK reaction plans.
• Establish reaction plans (rework, verification, containment).
• Manage relationships with tool suppliers and fastener suppliers (class, coating, certificates).
• Support customer audits and specific OEM requirements (OEM).
• Temporary position for 6 months.
