Forvia in Monterrey seeks an Automation & Controls specialist to diagnose and improve downtime, servo drives, motion control, and automated equipment. You will implement logic changes and support robotics applications, prioritizing robust maintenance and continuous improvement.

You will collaborate on program recovery and PLC–robot interlocks, develop troubleshooting procedures, and train autonomous maintenance teams while fostering technical skill development across the maintenance organization.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with Siemens PLCs (TIA Portal).
• Experience with industrial robots (KUKA preferred).
• Experience with servo drives and motion control.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose and resolve issues related to servo drives, motion control, and automated equipment.
• Implement logic adjustments and parameter changes following plant change-management processes.
• Automation implementation to reduce human-dependent operation and downtime.
• Support industrial robotic applications (KUKA preferred) and program recovery.
• Verify PLC–robot interlocks and perform automation troubleshooting.
• Create procedures and standards for troubleshooting diverse production equipment failures.
• Develop autonomous maintenance teams through continuous training.
• Develop a technical school for maintenance and process engineers to improve skills.
