Johnson & Johnson in Juarez, Mexico is seeking an Automation & Reliability Engineer STAFF to improve equipment uptime and drive continuous improvement in manufacturing.

The role requires experience with TPM, OEE, FRACAS, RCA, and CMMS such as SAP PM or Maximo, collaborating with Operations, EHS, Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams.

You will lead maintenance strategies, support new equipment installation, and ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or sciences related.
• Professional certifications in lean manufacturing and six sigma preferred.
• Experience with TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) methodologies.
• Experience using reliability assessment tools such as FRACAS and Risk Analysis.
• Experience managing capital equipment replacement projects and long-term asset management plans.
• Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, automotive, electronics, or highly regulated manufacturing industries.
• Experience with CMMS systems such as SAP PM, Maximo, or similar maintenance management platforms.
• Experience developing and implementing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies.
• Experience monitoring and improving equipment performance indicators, including OEE, MTBF, MTTR.

Responsabilidades

• Actively monitor equipment OEE and develop action plans to improve targets.
• Develop equipment training content for new technical personnel.
• Maintain and standardize manufacturing areas for optimal compliance.
• Collaborate with Supervisors and Engineers to solve equipment issues.
• Schedule and execute planned maintenance activities.
• Develops preventive and corrective maintenance plans to optimize resources.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental policies.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective maintenance actions.
• Deploy 5-year equipment replacement plan.
• Apply evaluation methods (FRACAS, RCA, etc.) for risk mitigation.
