Amazon Mexico Logistics in Mexico City seeks an Automation Project Engineer to own deployments of automated Material Handling Equipment (MHE) in the Delivery Station Network. You will manage design, installation, commissioning and ramp‑up, partnering with Process Engineering, Operations, Facilities and Engineering teams.

The role requires 4+ years of automation experience and fluency in English, with frequent domestic travel and occasional international travel.

Formación

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
4+ years in industrial/operations/manufacturing/project engineering.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, MS Project).
Experience with material handling equipment (MHE).
Fluent English (speaking, reading, writing).

Responsabilidades

Design and own automation deployments for MX last mile operations.
Author business cases to justify automation and boost performance.
Create technical docs: flow diagrams, layouts, installation details, schedules, budgets.
Support lessons learned program for future design iterations.
Detail integration plans for MHE automation with design and controls teams.
Support turnkey deployment by coordinating field teams for installations.
Help develop and implement service and maintenance concepts for AMZL field teams.
