Intel Contract Employee in Guadalajara is seeking an Automated Functional Validation Engineer to join our hardware validation team and advance end-to-end validation tooling.

You will develop, enable, and continuously improve validation tools and automation methodologies to enhance platform reliability.

This 1-year to 2-year contract requires 3+ years in validation automation, strong English, and a permanent right to work in Mexico.

• Bachelor's or BS degree in a relevant field (Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science).
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in: Validation automation, scripting, and debugging processes.
• Proficiency in Python for automation script development.
• Familiarity with system architecture and SoC microarchitecture.
• Strong skills in root cause analysis and hardware validation.
• Advanced English level.
• Must have unrestricted - permanent right to work in Mexico.

As an Automated Functional Validation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing validation processes and ensuring the functional integrity of Intel's cutting‑edge hardware SoC. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include developing, enabling, and continuously improving validation tools and automation methodologies.

By creating end-to-end validation infrastructure and automating execution, you'll drive efficiency and enhance the quality of validation. Your contributions will directly impact the reliability and performance of semiconductor solutions essential to Intel's innovation.

Please note that this is a temporary position with an expected duration of 1year, and potentially up to 2 years.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications , you must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position:

• Bachelor's or BS degree in a relevant field (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science).
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in: Validation automation, scripting, and debugging processes.
• Proficiency in Python for automation script development.
• Familiarity with system architecture and SoC microarchitecture.
• Strong skills in root cause analysis and hardware validation.
• Advanced English level.
• Must have unrestricted - permanent right to work in Mexico (this position is not eligible for employment-based visa/immigration sponsorship).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's or PhD in a related field with 2+ years of experience.
• Experience deploying CI/CD solutions in a testing environment.
• Expertise in post-silicon validation and debugging techniques.
