Intel in Mexico, Guadalajara, invites an Automated Functional Validation Engineer for a 1-year contract to strengthen validation tooling and automation for SoC hardware validation.

You will develop and optimize validation tools, write Python scripts, implement CI/CD for system testing, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve validation lifecycle and data-driven decisions.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
• 3+ years hands-on experience in validation automation, scripting, and debugging.
• Proficiency in Python for automation script development.
• Familiarity with system architecture and SoC microarchitecture.
• Strong skills in root cause analysis and hardware validation.
• Advanced English level.
• Must have permanent right to work in Mexico.

As an Automated Functional Validation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing validation processes and ensuring the functional integrity of Intel's cutting-edge hardware SoC. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include developing, enabling, and continuously improving validation tools and automation methodologies. By creating end-to-end validation infrastructure and automating execution, you'll drive efficiency and enhance the quality of validation. Your contributions will directly impact the reliability and performance of semiconductor solutions essential to Intel's innovation.

Please note that this is a temporary position with an expected duration of 1year, and potentially up to 2 years.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications, you must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position:

• Bachelor's or BS degree in a relevant field (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science).


• 3+ years of hands-on experience in:

Must have unrestricted - permanent right to work in Mexico (this position is not eligible for employment-based visa/immigration sponsorship).

Preferred Qualifications

are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

• Master's or PhD in a related field with 2+ years of experience.


• Experience deploying CI/CD solutions in a testing environment.


• Expertise in post-silicon validation and debugging techniques.
