A leading design company in Mexico is seeking a Mechanical Designer to design critical mechanical systems for industrial facilities. You will need proficiency in AutoCAD and experience in HVAC design. The ideal candidate has 5-10 years in a relevant field and strong English communication skills. This remote role offers competitive compensation plus benefits.

Formación

5–10 years of hands-on mechanical design experience.
Strong command of English.
Knowledge of ASHRAE and NFPA standards.

Responsabilidades

Design mechanical systems like HVAC and ductwork.
Specify equipment: chillers, pumps, etc.
Create construction-ready drawings in AutoCAD and/or Revit.

Conocimientos

Proficiency in AutoCAD

Communication skills

Mechanical codes knowledge

Salary offers: From $28,000.00MXN gross, with law and above law benefits; up to $42,000.00MXN net payment (somewhat of a contractor arrangement) + accounting support + medical insurance. The salary offers may vary and will be determined according to experience and skills.

️ Design mechanical systems for industrial facilities – think HVAC, ductwork, piping, and clean utilities

Size and specify equipment: chillers, AHUs, pumps, and more

Run load calculations, energy modeling, and airflow analysis

Create construction-ready drawings in AutoCAD and/or Revit MEP

Apply ASHRAE, NFPA, and other design standards

Collaborate with electrical, process, and architectural teams

️ 5–10 years of hands-on mechanical design experience

️ Proficiency in AutoCAD (required) and Revit (preferred)

️ Experience in industrial, manufacturing, oil & gas, or life sciences

️ Strong command of English and great communication skills

️ Knowledge of mechanical codes and standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, etc.)

️ U.S. project experience is a big plus

Experience with pharmaceutical/biotech facilities

Familiarity with clean utilities (WFI, CIP, SIP)

Understanding of sustainability and energy recovery practices

This is a design-oriented position with future potential to expand into broader engineering tasks. You’ll report directly to an experienced team lead, work fully remotely, and enjoy a flexible and professional environment.
