Job summary

Carrier is seeking an Associate Sustaining Engineer to support product development, sustaining engineering, and factory support activities. You will execute engineering studies, validate designs, and drive improvements to ensure product performance and quality.

The role requires a mechanical, electrical, or controls engineering background with 0–3 years of experience, fluent English, and skills in Creo, AutoCAD, MS Project, and Excel.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of experience in product development, project engineering, sustaining engineering or manufacturing support.
• Proactive and communicative team member required.

Responsibilities

• Support product development through engineering studies, feasibility evaluations, design modifications, and cost analysis.
• Execute and analyze tests for systems, components, and sub-systems.
• Provide factory support by resolving design-related issues, material shortages, deviations, and manufacturing challenges.
• Evaluate alternative materials and design solutions through testing and validation.
• Create and maintain engineering drawings, specifications, sketches, and technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with design, safety, and qualification standards.
• Drive product optimization, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement engineering changes and support production needs.
