For more information, visit corporate.carrier.com or follow Carrier on social media at @Carrier.## ## **About the role**## Entry-level professional in Test and Validation who analyzes equipment and processes and prepares equipment for testing for small platforms/systems.## **Key Responsibilities:**## * ## Execute standard HVAC and S&V tests by following established procedures and work instructions.* ## Support testing of outdoor splits, heat pumps, SPPs, gas furnaces and fan coils products· Set up and operate basic test instrumentation (microphones, accelerometers, pressure sensors).* ## Assist with test chamber setup, calibration checks, and data collection·* ## Document anomalies to engineers·* ## Follow safety, quality, and Carrier standard work practices·* ## Coordinate with engineers and internal customers on sample timing, preparation and initiation.* ## Maintain detailed records of testing conducted with detailed measurements of test solutions, environmental conditions and equipment status.* ## Maintain a safe working environment, following all procedures and PPE requirements.* ## Ensure the proper installation and orientation of measurement sensors.* ## Compare results against international standards, customer requirements, and internal limits.* ## Prepare clear and structured technical reports, including graphs, conclusions, and recommendations.* ## Maintain and verify the calibration status of measurement equipment.* ## Comply with industrial safety, quality, and 5S policies during the execution of tests.## ## **Requirements:**## * ## Bachelor's in mechanical engineering, Mechatronics Engineering.* ## 1+ years of hands-on experience in manufacturing, lab and / or R&D with HVAC experience a significant plus.* ## Must be detail oriented, mechanically inclined and have experience with basic shop tools, digital photography and computer usage (including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint).* ## Basic understanding of: Refrigeration cycle, electrical measurements and mechanical fundamentals* ## Ability to follow procedures accurately and work with or without supervision.* ## Welding (preferable)* ## Understanding basic refrigeration system focus on HVAC system (Furnace, Fan coil, Furnace Coil, Heat Pump, AC Condensing Unit, Rooftop Units, Packaged Products, Chillers) functions would be beneficial.* ## Basic-Intermediate English.* ## Ability to read and comprehend International Standards.* ## Ability to write reports to communicate technical data.* ## Ability to effectively present technical information to other employees of the organization.## ## **Benefits**## ## We offer a competitive total rewards package that may include other benefits and well‐being programs.
