Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Demand Planning Lead in Querétaro, Mexico to manage weekly buy and inventory targets across assigned categories.

You will own Open-to-Buy planning, balance availability with working capital, and partner with Product, Sales, Finance and Supply Planning to optimize forecasts and stock. Strong Excel and ERP skills are essential in this fast-paced, data-driven environment.

Formación

• 5+ years in demand planning or inventory planning or supply chain analytics.
• Advanced Excel and data analysis tools proficiency.
• Ability to translate complex data into actionable plans.
• Experience with ERP/planning systems (P21, Slimstock, etc.).
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Product, Supply Chain, Finance.
• Strategic mindset balancing short- and long-term planning.

Responsabilidades

• Lead weekly buy and inventory management for assigned categories.
• Own Open-to-Buy planning and supplier investment strategies.
• Drive consensus demand planning with Product Management, Sales, Finance, and Supply Planning.
• Proactively manage supply constraints and risk mitigation with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Analyze in-stock, fill rate, and forecast accuracy performance; lead KPI improvements.
• Partner on promotional and lifecycle planning for demand shifts and new product introductions.
• Lead excess and obsolete inventory reduction initiatives.
• Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and best practices.
• Act as SME and mentor to junior planners.
• Participate in cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in demand planning, inventory planning, or supply chain analytics.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
• Ability to analyze complex data sets and translate insights into actionable plans.
• Experience with ERP and planning systems such as P21, Slimstock, or similar.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration experience with Sales, Product, Supply Chain, and Finance teams.
• Strategic mindset balancing short-term execution and long-term planning.
