Thomson Reuters is seeking an Assistant HR Manager for People & Leader Advisory (Maternity Leave Coverage) in Mexico City. You will provide strategic HR partnership to business leaders and employees, guiding people-related decisions and contributing to engagement and performance initiatives.

Responsibilities include delivering HR cycle activities, workforce planning, and advising on Employee Relations while coaching junior colleagues.

Formación

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • 5 years of experience in Human Resources, Human Resources Business Partner, Employee Relations, Organizational Development, or related HR functions.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment policies & relations, employee engagement & performance management.
  • Working knowledge of Mexican labor legislation and employment practices.
  • Experience partnering with managers and influencing decision-making.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication, consulting, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to analyze information, identify solutions, and provide practical recommendations.

  • Contribute to a project as a team member with ownership of certain elements of the project.
  • Advise first to middle management in medium to higher complexity of Employee Relations activity.
  • Direct and coach more junior colleagues in their development and knowledge within the HR function.
  • Lead and coordinate employee engagement events, wellbeing initiatives, and local People programs.

As an Assistant HR manager, People & Leader Advisory (Maternity Leave Coverage) you will play a key role in supporting business leaders and employees across Thomson Reuters. In this role, you will provide strategic and operational HR partnership, guide leaders through people-related decisions, and contribute to initiatives that drive engagement, performance, and organizational effectiveness.

Required Qualifications
