BMW Group in San Luis Potosí is offering an Assembly Internship for engineering students to contribute to launching new vehicles by developing and commissioning line equipment and processes while keeping production running through maintenance activities.
You will work on-site from January to June 2027 (40 hours/week, Monday to Friday) under mentor guidance, gaining hands-on experience and earning a monthly scholarship. The program emphasizes diversity, inclusion, and practical impact.

Your work will focus primarily:
Developing a project that will lead you to acquire knowledge and to put in practice what you have learned during you career at the same time that it will generate a positive impact to the Company.
Requirements:
Monthly scholarship/stipend of $9,600.00 MXN.

Department Overview: Responsible for launching new vehicles to the market by developing, installing, and commissioning all line equipment and processes, while keeping production lines running through various types of maintenance.
Main Activities:
Track maintenance improvement ideas, prepare for process/safety/environmental audits, and ensure compliance with legal requirements and technical training follow-ups.
Generate daily maintenance reports and follow up on lessons learned.
Support daily production problem-solving methodologies in the first area of the assembly line.
