Placements24 is seeking a versatile Financial Accounting Advisor for our Acapulco, Guerrero operations. This contract role offers hybrid work with periodic on-site meetings as needed to support financial planning, reporting, and policy development.

The candidate will review financial statements, KPIs, and tax compliance, advising on budgeting, forecasting, and process improvements while collaborating with stakeholders. Travel to Acapulco may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, or advisory roles.
• Strong knowledge of Mexican accounting standards (NIF) and tax laws.
• Ability to analyze financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Excellent problem-solving and strategic thinking skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.
• Experience working with startups or in the tourism sector is a plus.
• Ability to travel to Acapulco for on-site consultations as required by the hybrid model.
