Job summary

Genpact is seeking an Accounts Receivable specialist to manage a portfolio of customer accounts, ensure timely payments, and maintain accurate records. You will work with field operations and Shared Service Center colleagues to implement effective collection strategies.

The role requires a Finance/Accounting/Business degree (or HS diploma) with 1+ year in a Shared Service environment, Advanced English, and strong MS Office skills. Excellent communication and multitasking abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or related field required; HS diploma accepted
• At least 1 year experience in a Shared Service environment
• Experience in accounts receivable
• Advanced English language skills
• Proficiency with MS Office including Outlook, Word and Excel
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral & written)

Responsibilities

• Oversee a portfolio of customer accounts and ensure timely collection of payments
• Communicate with customers to address billing questions and payment schedules
• Maintain accurate account histories and review supporting documents for terms compliance
• Collaborate with field operations and Shared Service Center to align on collection strategies
• Investigate variances and resolve unapplied or misapplied payments
• Identify opportunities to improve AR processes and efficiency
