Job summary

Pfizer is seeking a Manager to lead a high-velocity applied AI/ML team in Mexico City, delivering production-grade prototypes and enterprise-ready solutions. You will stay hands-on while shaping architecture, data pipelines, and experimentation strategy.

You will partner with business leaders to frame problems, translate them into testable hypotheses, and communicate outcomes clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

• BA/BS with 5+ years of AI/ML, data science, or applied research.
• Translate business problems into analytical approaches and communicate results.
• Strong coding in Python with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn.
• Hands-on with software engineering practices: Git, CI/CD, containerization.
• Mentoring or leading engineers or data scientists is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of applied AI engineers and data scientists.
• Build and lead model development including feature engineering and evaluation.
• Develop data pipelines and integrate unstructured data sources.
• Deliver production-ready code with rigorous experimentation and documentation.
• Apply GenAI/LLM techniques and validate results with stakeholders.
