BMC Software, Inc. is seeking an AI Data Architect / Solution Engineer to design scalable data and AI architectures that empower trusted data products for enterprise users.

This is a hands-on senior role acting as the bridge between business needs and technical reality. You will collaborate with leadership, define reference architectures, build Data Agent interfaces, and guide teams through design reviews to production.

Formación

• 8+ years across data architecture and hands-on engineering
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL with Snowflake and DBT experience
• Proven experience designing and building LLM / agentic solutions (RAG, function/tool calling, orchestration)
• Deep understanding of semantic layer as architectural bridge between source data and business meaning
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and influence architecture decisions
• Strong communication and leadership in fast-moving environments

Responsabilidades

• Design reference architecture and delivery patterns for governed data
• Architect and build the Data Agent and agentic workflows
• Co-design semantic layer (HoneyDew / DBT) for analytics and AI
• Serve as technical lead and mentor engineers
• Translate business problems into technical requirements and manage stakeholder relationships
• Take features end-to-end from design to production
