DXC Technology in Mexico is seeking an Application Support / Oracle PL/SQL Developer to support and maintain business-critical applications. The role combines production support with hands-on Oracle SQL/PL/SQL coding to troubleshoot incidents and implement fixes.

You will work with business users and technical teams on root-cause analysis, develop and maintain SQL/PL/SQL code, and contribute to deployments and documentation. Strong English and collaborative problem-solving are essential.

Formación

• Strong experience in Application / Production Support.
• Hands-on experience programming with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
• Experience developing or maintaining stored procedures, packages, functions, triggers, and complex SQL queries.
• Experience troubleshooting application and database-related production issues.
• Experience performing incident analysis, root-cause analysis (RCA), and problem resolution.
• Good understanding of relational databases and application/database integrations.
• Intermediate English level or higher, with the ability to communicate in a professional environment.

Job Description

We are looking for an Application Support / Oracle PL/SQL Developer to support and maintain business-critical applications.

The ideal candidate combines strong Application/Production Support experience with hands-on Oracle PL/SQL programming skills, with the ability to troubleshoot incidents, analyze application and database issues, and implement effective technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Nice to Have

Experience in any of the following technologies or business areas will be considered a plus:

• Borland Delphi / Pascal.
• Visual Basic.
• Linux and shell scripting.
• Oracle Database Administration.
• .NET technologies.
• Experience supporting legacy applications.
• Knowledge of Mexican customs, import/export, or related business processes.

Ideal Profile

We are looking for a hands‑on technical professional who is comfortable working in a production support environment while also performing development and application maintenance activities.

Strong experience in Oracle PL/SQL programming and Application Support will be prioritized. Experience with the additional technologies listed above is valuable but not required to be considered for the position.
