Responsible for providing technical pre-sales and post-sales support for automation and industrial solutions in Mexico and Central America.

The Applications Engineer serves as the primary technical advisor for customers and sales teams, translating manufacturing challenges into practical automation solutions that deliver measurable business value. The role combines deep technical expertise with strong commercial acumen to support customers throughout the complete project lifecycle, from opportunity identification and solution design to implementation, commissioning, and optimization.

As a trusted technical consultant, the Applications Engineer helps customers improve productivity, quality, flexibility, safety, and operational efficiency through the effective application of automation technologies, including PLCs, HMIs, motion control systems, robotics, sensors, industrial networks, and Industry 4.0 software solutions.

Qualifications

Strong expertise in factory automation, robotics, industrial controls, PLCs, SCADA, sensors, motion control, and related systems.

Know-how to adapt standard solutions to complex or unique customer environments.

Ability to design, configure, and validate technical solutions that meet customer requirements.

Conducting technical presentations and demos.

Supporting sales teams with feasibility studies, ROI analysis, and proposal development.Conducting technical presentations and demos.Supporting sales teams with feasibility studies, ROI analysis, and proposal development.

Knowledge of programming languages relevant to automation (e.g., ladder logic, structured text, C++).MQQT, Docker, Phython, C+, others .Ability to configure industrial networking protocols (EtherNet/IP, Modbus, PROFINET, etc.).

Understanding of IoT/Industry 4.0 concepts.Basics of data analytics or integration into MES/ERP systems.
