Flex is seeking a Test Engineer for Flex North to implement and maintain cost-effective testing methods for electronic systems and software. The role reports to the Industrial Director of Process Engineering and requires coordinating calibration, data interpretation, and test automation across multi-disciplinary teams.

The candidate will lead test engineering activities, improve yields, and support cross-functional manufacturing with hands-on AOI/AXI experience and strong problem-solving skills.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics or related field.
• Experience in EMS/CM environments with high-mix, high-volume manufacturing.
• Experience with ATE, ICT, AOI/AXI platforms.
• Proven ability to lead Test Engineering activities and support cross-functional teams.
• Strong knowledge of test equipment, calibration, and test system integration.
• Experience developing test hardware/software solutions and root-cause analysis.

Responsabilidades

• Directs electronic engineering activities for testing apparatus or software.
• Coordinates calibration of instruments and control devices for testing.
• Resolves test data interpretation and coding issues with teams.
• Develops and maintains test documentation and reports.
• Creates and improves test methodologies, plans, and acceptance criteria.
• Trains floor staff on test hardware/software and problem solving.
• Investigates root causes of test yield issues and implements corrective actions.
• Supports integration of equipment verification in production.
