Whirlpool, Inc. in Ramos Arizpe, Mexico, seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to develop and deliver state-of-the-art equipment, tooling and technology for the RAMOS factory using World Class Manufacturing (WCM) methodology.

You will install, commission, and startup equipment, participate in trials, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure process capability and efficient setup. This role offers hands-on development and close teamwork in a manufacturing environment.

Formación

• Education in Manufacturing Engineering or closely related field.
• Experience with development and delivery of automation equipment.
• English: Intermediate; able to communicate with cross-functional teams.

The Engineering team discovers, develops and evaluates new product ideas, enhancements, or strategic product extensions, and translates research discoveries into usable and marketable products. Leads, plans and tracks all phases of the product life cycle, from inception to introduction into the marketplace. Coordinates with various functions to ensure successful product development and implementation.

Minimum requirements

EDUCATION:

• Manufacturing Engineering
• Mechatronics / Mechanical Engineering

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering

SKILLS:

• 2+ years of experience in the development and delivery of Controls & Automation equipment.
• 2+ years of experience in commissioning, installation, and handoff contracts for process technologies.

EXPERIENCE:

• 2+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience.

LANGUAGES:

• English: Intermediate
