Slalom Build is seeking a Senior Amazon Connect Principal to lead contact center solutions leveraging Amazon Connect and related AWS services. You will guide design and delivery, mentor teams, and play a key role in pre-sales activities with clients.

The role requires consulting experience, strong leadership, and hands-on AWS knowledge. You will collaborate across sales, delivery, and engineering teams to drive successful outcomes for diverse customer engagements.

Formación

Experience designing, implementing, or supporting contact center solutions with Amazon Connect and AWS services.
3+ years of consulting experience or equivalent with stakeholders.
Understanding of industry trends to guide clients and account teams.
Experience enabling, coaching, and supporting team members.
Familiarity with generative AI concepts in contact centers.
Proficiency in Python/Node.js.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong oral and written communication for technical and non-technical audiences.
Active AWS certifications or ability to obtain them on hire.
Desire to continually learn and share knowledge.

Responsabilidades

Lead implementations of contact center services using Amazon Connect and AWS.
Collaborate with clients to define technical designs meeting business objectives.

Build or configure Amazon Connect components as needed.
Ensure testing validates functionality and security requirements.
Develop DevOps tooling and infrastructure as code.
Participate in deployment, cutover, and post-go-live support.
Prepare architecture and workflow diagrams.
Collaborate with designers, developers, architects, PMs, and stakeholders.
Identify opportunities and support client proposals.
Assist in creating case studies, demos, and training materials.
Serve as trusted advisor on contact center best practices and AWS capabilities.

We are seeking a passionate Amazon Connect Principal to join our team.

What You’ll Do

Lead others and contribute directly in the implementation of contact center services, leveraging Amazon Connect & related AWS services.
Collaborate with clients and teammates to define technical designs to meet business objectives, as part of project delivery and pre-sales solutioning.
Be a People Leader, completing annual performance reviews and providing recurring feedback & coaching to advance the capabilities and careers of direct reports.
Support recruiting efforts by networking to identify skilled professionals, performing candidate interviews, and representing Slalom at industry events.
Provide Amazon Connect technical and functional expertise to sales teams, project teams, and customers.
Build custom components and/or configure Amazon Connect as necessary.
Ensure proper testing is performed to validate built work products perform as expected and meet security requirements.
Create, support, and/or utilize DevOps tooling, including infrastructure as code.
Participate in deployment, cutover, and post-go-live support activities.
Prepare technical documentation, including architecture and workflow diagrams.
Work closely with others, including designers, developers, architects, project managers, and business stakeholders, to meet project timeline and quality objectives.
Identify opportunities and support proposal development for new/existing clients.
Support the development of case studies, demos, and training materials.
Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert guidance on contact center best practices, industry trends, and AWS capabilities.

What You’ll Bring

Experience in designing, implementing, or supporting contact center solutions, including hands-on experience with Amazon Connect and supporting AWS services (e.g., Lex, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, CloudFormation).
3+ years of consulting experience, or equivalent experience working directly with stakeholders to understand and achieve business goals.
An understanding of industry trends and platform capabilities to help guide clients and account teams in identifying opportunities to unlock additional value.
Experience enabling, coaching, and supporting team members.
Familiarity with generative AI concepts and capabilities, especially as related to contact center use cases.
Proficiency in programming/scripting languages, such as Python/Node.js.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
Effective oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Active AWS certifications or ability to achieve relevant certifications upon hire.
A desire to continually learn new skills and share your knowledge with others.
