Job summary

Aeromexico in Mexico City seeks an Interline and Flown Revenue Specialist to ensure proper revenue recognition from passenger transport, ancillary services, and ticket expirations, aligning with IFRS 15 and company policies.

The role provides technical oversight of analyses, reconciliations, and accounting entries, validates critical results, and supports audits, controls, and process improvements across Revenue Accounting teams. Oracle Cloud and SABRE experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting is required.
• 3–5 years in general accounting, revenue recognition, and financial reporting.
• Experience supervising analysts and applying internal controls.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Oracle Cloud.
• Experience in airline industry or with publicly traded companies.
• Strong knowledge of IAS/IFRS, especially IFRS 15.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight of analyses, reconciliations, and entries for revenue accounting.
• Validate results, identify root causes, and assess financial impact on revenue.
• Support internal and external audits, SOX compliance, and controls enhancements.
• Lead process improvements, automation, and system changes affecting revenue.
• Serve as technical reference for Passenger Revenue Accounting and related teams.
