Job summary

AspenTech is seeking a Product Owner for its AI R&D organization to guide product strategy and prioritize value delivery. You will align stakeholders, manage backlog, and shape the roadmaps across software, data science, and product teams.

You will drive acceptance criteria, collaborate with engineering, and champion customer-centric, data-driven innovation while staying current with AI trends and technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering or related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Software Development, Data Science, and Product Management teams to design, architect, and deliver next generation AI products.
• Own and prioritize the team backlog to maximize customer and business value.
• Translate complex business needs into well-defined features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Partner with engineering and architecture teams to align product capabilities with technical strategy and platform direction.
• Actively contribute ideas for product innovation, process improvements, and customer-driven solutions.
• Drive collaboration across cross-functional teams to ensure successful product delivery and adoption.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, providing context, direction, and prioritization guidance to development teams.
• Validate delivered functionality against business objectives and customer expectations.
• Foster a culture of customer-centricity, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision making.
• Show a passion for continuous learning and staying up-to-date with emerging AI technologies, industry trends, and evolving customer needs.
