Job summary

Zendesk, Inc. is seeking a Resource Manager to optimize staffing for Professional Services projects in Mexico City.

You will partner with delivery leaders, engagement managers, and sales to align demand with capacity, set up projects in the PSA platform, and assign the right resources to critical roles. You will analyze capacity, forecast utilization, and use AI-enabled workflows to streamline project creation and staffing.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of resource management, project coordination, or project management experience, ideally at a technology company or consultancy.
• Experience using a Professional Services Automation or resource management platform for project setup, staffing, and assignments; Certinia experience preferred.
• Hands-on experience using generative AI tools to improve work processes and review outputs for accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Manage project demand by monitoring the services opportunity pipeline and upcoming work to anticipate project setup needs and resource demand.
• Validate requirements by partnering with sales, delivery leaders, and project managers to confirm project scope, timing, roles, skills, and staffing requirements.
• Create and maintain projects in the PSA platform, keeping project details, roles, forecasts, and resource plans accurate as scope or timing changes.
• Coordinate resource assignments with delivery leads and project managers, balancing customer needs, skills, availability, and priorities.
• Improve assignment decisions by using capacity and demand data to surface constraints and recommend staffing changes.
